The term warranty is often loosely used, so what is a mechanical breakdown parts and labour warranty? What does it mean to you the consumer? The warranty supplied with the sales cars is under written by Autoprotect and Icknield Car sales.

This will cover many aspects of the car in the event of mechanical or electrical failure for a period of 6 months. Exclusions are typical wear and tear and service items. See policy for details of the above. As a dealer I will prepare a car to a high standard before delivery to comply with warranty terms and conditions. If you buy a car privately, there will be no duty of care, guarantee or warranty attached to the sale.
